At the show on 30-03-02 there were Cornish Rex "presented" on the stage. It was not a Rex-special corresponding to the one that Jyrak is having in Nyborg the 3rd September this year. There every Rex will be judged, in addition to the basic judging, and there a BIS Rex will be elected - irrespective of variety. Regarding memories, hmmm, we can all have a need for a "brush-up", no?

Will just like to remark that at the 30/3-02 Jyrak show there was a Rexspeciale. So I am very sorry to diminish your pleasure that this will be the first time that such is held; it is not correct. Especially it appears on this website to be a little self-contradictory. Perhaps Jyraks chairman ought to refresh his memory, when it was his "own" club, that held that Rex Specialen...

There have been several messages in this Guestbook enquiring about prices for Sphynx. I don't know if anyone got any replies from breeders? If not, then I can tell you that a Sphynx will cost in the region of DKK 8.000 (if you are lucky!)- DKK 18.000 and more.

Your site is extremely informative! I had a dear friend in the late 50s, early 60s; Mrs. Sally Muckenhaupt who lived near Boston. She imported a German Rex male but I lost touch with her in the early 70s.

The best site I have ever found for documenting a factual and detailed history of these marvellous cats. The historical pictures are a delight to see. I understand the genetics much better after reading Fitz Usmany's paper on polygenes. I have been searching a long time for this information.
